Bahlmann slaughters and butchers exclusively in the modern, equipped EC meat center in Lindern (DE-NI 10107). The entire slaughter process for calves and cattle takes place under the supervision of the state supervisory authority. This guarantees that only meat from healthy animals is sold.

The main requirements for the modern Bahlmann cutting plant are production quality, a high level of hygiene and the processing of customer-specific cuts - with bone or boneless, as a vacuum-packed cut. Veal and beef are taken from the slaughterhouse directly after the cooling process and are not subject to any additional transport.

The computer system enables continuous traceability of origin at all stages of production and labelling of goods according to customer requirements. In this way, Bahlmann guarantees retailers absolute traceability of origin and product quality for every piece of meat.

Self-service production - Individual portioning

Self-service meat has also created new sales channels for us in terms of product diversity in traditional food retail and wholesale. Here, everything from fresh meat to seasoned and marinated products to convenience products is portioned to suit the customer, packaged in an atmospheric manner and labelled.
