Our customers only receive meat whose origin we can fully verify. Each animal is marked at birth with two ear tags with an ID number and precisely identified with the associated birth certificate. This marking, which is stored in a central database, is retained from rearing through to cutting and marketing.
Security with letter and seal
Every process at Bahlmann follows the proven IFS quality management system. Our quality assurance partners, the German Institute of Food Technology and SGS, work according to strict guidelines.
Bahlmann products are subjected to constant quality controls to ensure the highest level of safety for consumers. This is confirmed by numerous seals. Representatives of slaughterhouses and cutting companies as well as calf farmers have joined forces to develop a voluntary "Integrated Safety Program". Special attention is given to ensuring the origin and excluding unauthorized substances.
QS is the quality assurance system for meat and sausage products. QS label holders undertake to meet strict standards in all areas of the production process.
