Our subsidiary Optimin, Europe's most modern compound feed factory for milk replacer feed, supplies not only milk replacers but also milk powder for calves that are to be fattened as well as feed supplements for piglet rearing.

Bahlmann liquid fat mixtures are used to enrich calf milk with liquid vegetable fat, which was previously removed from the milk in the dairies to make cheese. This makes the milk a valuable nutritional basis for Bahlmann calves. Vegetable fat mixtures are produced on demand according to individual customer requirements.

Dietary fiber as a dietary supplement

Our concentrate plant in Lindern has been offering suitable supplementary feed for mixed feeding since 1986. Straw cobs, calf muesli and calf grain are produced here. The straw cobs in particular contribute to the natural development of the calf rumen as ballast feed.
