Our story.
1959
Hubert Bahlmann fattens his first 10 calves in Ambühren near Cloppenburg.
1969
In Detern/East Frisia, a new approach is being taken with the self-marketing of slaughtered calves. Bahlmann uses refrigerated vehicles to deliver slaughtered calves to meat trading companies in Berlin and Munich.
1976
The production range is expanded:
Construction of the compound feed plant in Lindern.
1977
New slaughterhouse in Lindern.
1985
From now on, Bahlmann offers finely chopped veal and beef. This is offered boneless and vacuum packed.
1986
Bahlmann builds a concentrate feed factory in Lindern. Roughage and straw cobs supplement the pure milk feed.
2000
Europe's most modern compound feed plant for calf milk replacers is being built at the Lindern site. Improved feeding and housing conditions are being tested in a test barn built for this purpose.
2002
The new fat mixing plant closes another link in the calf feed production chain.
2003
Opening of a factory outlet.
2005
New construction of a Nawaro biogas plant with 1.9 megawatts of electrical power
2006
Expansion of the cutting department for veal and beef
2009
Entry into energy generation through photovoltaics 300 KW system output.
2011
Two additional CHP plants (526 KW and 200 KW) will be installed in Lindern. A 3 km long gas pipeline will be laid through the town, supplying the Lindern swimming pool, the school center and some calf stables with heat.
2013
Construction of 2 additional interim storage facilities with a volume of 12,000 m³, as well as a manure storage hall. Final expansion with 2.5 MW.
2016
Expansion of the dismantling area by 1,000 m² in the areas of empties logistics and shipping logistics.
2018

Installation of a stunning system for proper stunning using the most advanced technology.
